Winkhaus AV2 Multipoint lock for timber and PVC doors.

These locks have an automatic locking feature: as the door is closed, triggers on the faceplate release the spring-loaded brass hook bolts and engage them into position.

This enables the user to merely close the door and have it secured automatically without the need to lift the levers or turn the key.

The hooks retract by depressing the lever from inside, or by a quarter turn of the key from outside. The handle set fitted with the lock should ideally be a set with a fixed pull handle on the exterior.

Additional deadlocking can also be achieved with the key if extra security is needed (eg: for extra security overnight), in addition to this the lock includes an extra FA Lockout feature so that a second euro cylinder can be used with the lock for a further level of security.
